As part of our Accessibility package we have also enable text-to-speech (TTS) functionality.
By pressing and holding a finger on any text displayed on the screen for a few seconds, users can have the selected content read aloud through the terminal’s built-in speaker.
This feature provides an additional accessibility option for users who may have difficulty reading text on the screen or who prefer audio feedback.
Key Benefits
- Improved accessibility for users with visual impairments.
- Reduced eye strain during prolonged use.
- Faster access to information through audio playback.
- Enhanced usability in environments where reading the screen may be difficult.
Note: While Android traditionally provides text-to-speech through accessibility services such as Select to Speak and TalkBack, our solution offers a simplified interaction model. Users can press and hold any text on the screen for a few seconds to have it read aloud through the terminal speaker, providing quick and convenient access to spoken content.
