Customer Impact Statement
- CNA2 support will become available for use once the corresponding feature is released in the Payment Application.
- Provides additional flexibility when testing PAaS integrations without affecting the PAaS library functionality.
Features
Support for Payment Account Reference (PAR) Retrieval
- Added support for retrieving the Payment Account Reference (PAR) from the card chip when PAR is enabled through terminal configuration. When a PAR value is available on the chip, the terminal extracts it and includes it in the transaction data, enabling consistent customer and payment account identification across supported systems. (ID: 46750).
Surcharge Calculation for Purchase Transactions
- Added support to retrieve the surcharge amount for purchase responses from the PAaS library. Once the terminal identifies the card through BIN lookup and confirms the transaction as a purchase, it determines whether a surcharge applies and calculates the applicable surcharge amount. (ID: 51236).
Enhanced Card Number Alias (CNA2) Support
- Added support for retrieving and supplying the new Card Number Alias (CNA2) alongside the existing CNA. This maintains backward compatibility while providing enhanced protection for card identification data. (ID: 48437).
Improvements
Added Unregister Payment Service to PAaS Test Application
- Added an “Unregister Payment Service” function to the PAaS Test Application (simulator) to support testing activities. This functionality is limited to the test application and is not part of the PAaS library (ID: 51407).
