Features
- LINK API Enhancement – Print on Device Support
Introduced a new response field in the LINK API:"printerEnabled". This field indicates whether the terminal supports the Print on Device functionality:"true"if the terminal supports printing on the device"false"if printing is not supported on the terminal
- New Functionality – Print on Device
Introduced a new feature called Print on Device, allowing supported terminals to print custom content. A new API endpoint,"printData", has been added. Customers can send HTML content in the request body, which will be printed on the terminal if it supports the Print on Device functionality. - Terminal UI Customization – Logo and Color Themes
Added support for terminal UI customization. Customers can now request to add their own logo or other custom image as the terminal background. Additionally, the following UI elements can be customized upon request:- Status bar colors
- Text colors
- Background colors
- Bottom connection bar colors
- Improved Language Selection Options
A new method for changing the client language has been introduced via the OnlineAPI menu. If more than one language is enabled for the terminal, a Language Selection option will appear under the Device Functions section.
Currently supported languages: Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, and English.
Improvements
- Purchase Cancellation Enhancement
If a purchase is initiated and a cancel request is sent before the transaction is approved, the transaction will now be automatically reversed. The terminal will display the message: "Transaction cancelled." - Transaction Timeout and Auto-Reversal Enhancement
Improved the transaction process to introduce a 40-second wait period before timing out. If the terminal does not respond within this window, the POS will display the message: "WP36-Transaction timed-out." Additionally, the system now automatically reverses the transaction to ensure the customer is not charged in such cases. - Enhanced Transaction Handling for Network/Power Failures
Improved the transaction process to better handle scenarios involving network or power failures. If the terminal fails to respond within 60 seconds, the POS will now display the message: "WP23-Terminal is offline."
